Definitely... Because it's a design that can virtually be placed anywhere... it's a design that doesnt require to be efficient, unlike the other parts of the car...Does it seem like all car engineers figure the location for the oil filter as the last thing on their designs?
actually I think engineers never work on anything they design .If they did i think they would change a lot of things.
Car dealers want you to bring the vehicle in for the service. They don't want the customer to do the work so there put in places that most people don't want to bother with. God Bless
